Our Staff

Our staff is led by our four on-staff veterinarians:
Dr. Rachel Anderson , Dr. Courtney Kulp, Dr. Jean Delong
and Dr. Kara Medjesky

Dr. Rachel Anderson attended undergraduate and veterinary college at Iowa State University. After graduating in 1996, Dr. Anderson worked in Chicago for two years. She then moved to Indianapolis, IN in 1998. She started practicing at Animal Medical Clinic in October 1999 and bought the practice in November 2000. Dr. Anderson has six dogs, four horses, ten cats, and two turtles.

Dr. Courtney Kulp received her Bachelors degree (Business Administration) from Loyola University of Chicago in 1990. She worked in business management for seven years before deciding to return to university life to pursue her lifelong dream of veterinary medicine. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Purdue University in 2004. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son. Their extended family includes her Kittitian Coconut Retreiver named Liege, and three cats: Libby, Maizey and Avie.

Dr. Jean Delong was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio along with her three sisters and a brother. She grew up with cats and dogs and was involved with horses in 4-H for 11 years. She attended undergraduate and veterinary college at Ohio State University. Since graduating in 1996, she has been working in Indianapolis. Currently, Dr. Delong is working on a residency through Purdue University in Animal behavior. Dr. Delong has 1 horse and 5 cats.

Dr. Kara Medjesky grew up in Brownsburg, IN with her 3 sisters. Her family always had an assortment of dogs, cats, and horses. She always had an interest in becoming a vet and completed her undergraduate studies at Purdue. She also attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee in 2007. Dr. Kara has an island dog named Tyler and a calico cat named Mommy-Kitty.
